On the 5th of August 2022 – John should better remember sweet chocolates, lovely flowers, and some kisses. It will be only 6 months ago when he and Mary were celebrating their marriage at Kusini Beach Cottages.  We were very proud to again host a beautiful and romantic ceremony, where they tied the knot, supported and applauded by their families & friends.

Kusini Beach Cottages is the ideal place for your family to celebrate such events. With only 14 bedrooms spread among the six beachfront plot cottages. We can comfortably host up-to 30 of your celebration guests – sleeping on-site as you enjoy your wedding day.

Our in-house private sandy beach offers the ideal setting for a reception, while most prefer to have the actual ceremony on the actual beach for aesthetic purposes. Our regular in-house teams of chefs and room stewards, supported by our familiar casual staff are on-hand to provide almost any service requested. There are at least three different options for your honeymoon suite.

Our General Manager will provide you with a full wedding planning service to ensure your special day goes smoothly. Our chefs maintain excellent relationships with the local fishermen – so a seafood BBQ with fresh lobsters, crabs, and oysters is usually easily available when planned.

We are happy to plan the menu and event with the bridegroom-to-be for some months before the event. From cakes to chairs to tables to treats, we will arrange the details to your budget. However, in the final days of preparation, we would request our guests to nominate friends and family to coordinate their sides of decision-making, while they attend to more personal matters. This is your big day, and we would like to make it memorable for all the right reasons. 

Our Resort is located at the end of the Diani beach Road on the south coast of Kenya allowing an escape from the busy city for the most important days and nights of your lives. Kusini’s small size offers privacy & exclusivity. If the number of guests exceeds thirty, which is to be expected at such a significant occasion, our good friendly neighbors can offer lots of capacity nearby, so that your extended family can easily attend the ceremony and remain just a stone’s throw away at its conclusion. It is common to walk along the clean, white, soft, sandy beach from one location to another (depending on the tides, of course!).

Or you can just relax by the pool, enjoy the vibrant colors of the sea, and watch the waves go by. Such moments are unforgettable, and we aim to help you to Live the Kusini Effect while you make some of your most precious shared memories with your families. Of course, John, Mary, and their families have automatically become members of Club Kusini, giving them access to special discounts, as well as priority booking for our peak seasons, such as Easter, Christmas, and New Years’ Eve.

Naturally, they are welcome back to celebrate anniversaries, the renewal of vows, and other special events.
