The Blue Luxury Wellness Center, run by Natasha, has been partnering with us for five years, ensuring your body rejuvenation while you stay at Kusini Beach Cottages. The great thing about Blue Luxury is that they are mobile, meaning they come directly to you at Kusini Beach.

Whether you prefer a massage on our beach deck, in the beach banda, or in the privacy of your own cottage, they have you covered. They offer a range of services, from full body massages to hot stone treatments and even pedicures and manicures. What better way to start your holiday than with a proper massage to loosen up your joints and relax your body?

Scuba Duka

Dive Center

The Scuba Duka Diving Center with Ali Khan, as one of our activity partner, has been collaborating with us for over 10 years, becoming a cornerstone for all divers visiting Kusini Beach Cottages. Located just a minute’s walk from Kusini’s beach pool, this dive center is perfect for divers who want to avoid the hassle of driving 15 minutes from their hotel every day.

It’s also an ideal spot for newcomers eager to experience diving. Ali Khan, the dive master, is a passionate and skilled instructor who loves teaching the way of PADI Diving. He especially enjoys training the younger generation. The best part is that he teaches the fundamentals of diving right at Kusini, using Kusini’s pool, so beginners don’t even have to leave the property to get started. Overall, Diani Beach also has amazing diving spots that are much fun to experience and discover.

Kite Center

The Kite Motion Center, located right next to Kusini and Scuba Duka, is an outstanding kite school that has partnered with Kusini for over five years. It has become an essential destination for all kitesurfers visiting Kusini. Its strategic location makes it a hub for many kitesurfers, providing a community atmosphere, gear maintenance services, and a safety boat ready at all times to keep an eye on kiters along the beach.

Kite Motion also focuses heavily on training newcomers, making it ideal for teenagers who have always wanted to try kite-surfing but were held back by distance or lack of facilities. Imagine sitting on Kusini’s pool deck, watching your child learn how to kite … it’s a perfect setup that fulfills all safety and convenience needs.

In that case, we offer a fantastic alternative: boat tours with Captain Pepe and Captain Ali, our activity partner, seasoned guides with nearly four years of experience at Kusini. These tours feature a range of boat excursions perfect for those who prefer to enjoy the ocean from the comfort of a boat.

Start with a ride on our glass-bottom boat, a standard-sized vessel equipped with a see-through floor that offers a glimpse of the underwater scenery without getting wet. Alternatively, sail on the traditional local catamaran, powered by the wind and designed in the authentic style used centuries ago.

Both options provide delightful experiences and are great for family outings. The tours include snorkeling adventures and visits to the famous Robinson Island sandbank, which emerges only during low tide. Here, you can disembark, explore, and enjoy a unique setting. His tours cover Tsavo East and West, Amboseli, Maasai Mara, and even Lake Nakuru. This service is ideal for those who prefer a more personalized approach to planning a safari, offering a chance to meet your guide, explore options, receive advice on the best sights for the season, and embark on your adventure directly from Kusini with Paul.

Focusing on the short term, once you visit Marco’s safari office, you’re likely to embark on your adventure the next day or shortly after that. These safaris typically include other groups of travelers, making them perfect for those who may not have initially planned on a safari but feel compelled to experience Kenya’s finest. Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the gates of Kusini, Marco’s office is the place to book an unforgettable journey.

Jungle Snake Park

The Jungle Snake Park, managed by Arafat Manyoka and his son Paku, has been welcoming guests from Kusini for over eight years. Located just a 20-minute drive from Kusini, this park specializes in a variety of reptiles and other native creatures.

As the name suggests, it is home to an array of snakes, from green mambas to black mambas, along with crocodiles and pythons. The park is particularly appealing for young children who are curious to see these creatures up close and personal. What sets the Jungle Snake Park apart is its authenticity and the genuine enthusiasm of the staff working with the animals … it’s a truly unique experience. We highly recommend checking out the supper show when you visit.

Shimoni Dolphin Dhow

Wrapping up our list of activity partner is the delightful Dolphin Dhow Tour with Hassan. Hassan and his team have been creating joyful experiences for guests for over seven years.

Located about a 45-minute drive from Kusini Beach Cottages, the journey heads south towards Wasini Island, also known as Shimoni. The tour typically kicks off in the morning, where you’ll embark on a boat ride to spot dolphins and, depending on the season, whales too. The excursion also includes snorkeling in Kenya’s largest marine park – a must-see destination.

After exploring underwater, you’ll visit Wasini Island, home to around 2,000 residents who live off the grid, and enjoy a local Swahili lunch. This tour is a favorite for many due to its broad appeal; it captivates people of all ages, from the young to the old, making it a truly unforgettable adventure for everyone.
